Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear sets new Goodwood...

The Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear made its global debut last month. The lightweight, track-focused version of the Jesko was also at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. It just became the fastest production car to drive up the famous hill climb course.

The Sadair’s Spear completed the run in 47.14 seconds, smashing the previous record set by the Czinger 21C by 1.68 seconds.

The new limited-edition hypercar is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine, which produces 1625 hp on E85 fuel. It weighs 35 kg less than the standard Jesko, and has a lot of downforce as well.

The aero package on the Sadair’s Spear comprises an active, top-mounted double-blade rear wing, refined underfloor strakes and wheel arch louvres. The car also features larger canards, hood vents, and hood scoops that are said to boost engine performance.
