A yellow Porsche Carrera GT has crashed in Austria. The supercar veered off into a wooded area on the picturesque Postalmstraße on the Strobl side. Could this be the same car that featured in Auto Sport’s Nurburgring video?
The German-registered Carrera GT had two people on board, both from Singapore, who escaped with minor injuries. However, the car suffered substantial damage after it slid down a steep slope. Images reveal a heavily damaged driver-side rear quarter.
According to media reports, the Strobl Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the accident site to rescue the victims and their million-dollar supercar. It took nearly 3.5 hours for the team to crane the car back onto the road.
The exact details of the accident are not clear at this point in time. However, excessive speed can’t be ruled out.
